Overview
Low-metallic friction material containing steel fiber, aramid, graphite carbon, silicon carbide composite. Very high thermal stability, wide controllable range, strong initial bite, low friction material wear, brake disc friendly. Short break-in period, ready within 1-3 laps. Suitable for lightweight race cars (1 ton or below).
Highlights
- Race-ready in 1-3 laps
- Friction range μ 0.38–0.48 (steel disc)
- Brake disc friendly — reduces rotor wear
- Composite: steel fiber, aramid, graphite carbon, SiC
Performance Profile
Friction Behavior
Friction coefficient (μ) measured across operating temperature range on cast iron (steel) disc. Higher values indicate stronger braking force at a given temperature.
Ideal For
Sprint Racing
Strong initial bite for aggressive qualifying laps
Lightweight GTC
Optimized for sub-1-ton race cars
Endurance Racing
Low wear rate for extended stints
