PROVEN ON TRACK
From bench testing to championship podiums. Every Barbaro Race Series compound earns its credentials through real competition, not just laboratory simulations.
CEC 2025 CHAMPIONSHIP
Hongqi H6 | FECCR-FR7-9665 Caliper
At the 2025 CEC Championship on the Tianfu International Circuit, a Hongqi H6 fitted with Barbaro RS-635 pads delivered a dominant endurance performance. Running a full 200-minute race stint on a single set, the RS-635 outlasted premium European competitors while showing less pad wear and costing a fraction of the price.

CERTIFIED PERFORMANCE
All Race Series compounds are validated against GB5763-2018 national standards and SAE J2522 testing protocols.
GB5763-2018 National Standard
| Model | Designated Friction | Friction Grade | SAE Mean Friction | SAE Range | Temp Range |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| RS-620 | 0.482 | 0.45 | 0.45–0.85 | 50–800°C | |
| RS-635 | 0.481 | 0.47 | 0.45–0.90 | 50–800°C |
SAE J2522 (FMVSS 135)
Both RS-620 and RS-635 are tested under the SAE J2522 dynamometer protocol, the global standard for friction material evaluation. This procedure subjects compounds to repeated high-energy braking cycles across the full 50–800°C temperature spectrum, measuring friction stability, fade resistance, and recovery characteristics under controlled laboratory conditions.
